Frequently asked questions
Practical answers about inquiries, sourcing, export coordination and contacting DERA International.
01What does DERA International do?+
DERA International provides practical Japan-side support for vehicle sourcing, engine, parts and equipment sourcing, export coordination, logistics, and dealer or seller pickup requests within an agreed scope.
02Does submitting an inquiry reserve an item?+
No. An inquiry is a request for review only. It does not reserve an item, create a quotation, accept a contract, or guarantee availability.
03When will I receive a quotation?+
DERA reviews the request and confirms the practical next step. Timing depends on the requirement, information available, and the relevant Japan-side parties.
04Does DERA guarantee that a vehicle can be imported into my country?+
No. Import rules, taxes, registration, approval, and suitability depend on the destination country and the specific vehicle. Buyers must confirm local requirements independently.
05Can DERA arrange shipping or insurance?+
Shipping and insurance can be discussed as part of an agreed scope. Availability, timing, cost, and terms require separate written confirmation.
06What information is needed for vehicle sourcing?+
Share make, model, year range, budget, destination country and port, quantity, intended use, and preferred timing.
07What information is needed for an engine, part or equipment inquiry?+
Describe the item, quantity, intended use, required condition, destination and timing. Include an engine code, part number, machine model or compatibility details where relevant. DERA will review whether the requested sourcing and services are available.
08Are estimated shipping dates guaranteed?+
No. Timing may change because of carrier schedules, weather, port conditions, customs, documentation, and other operational factors.
09How can I verify the company?+
The company information page lists DERA's company name, corporate number, address and contact details for your independent checks.
10How should I contact DERA?+
Use the contact page or the appropriate service inquiry route, including the details needed for a useful Japan-side review.
