Terms to confirm before an order

Submitting a website inquiry does not authorize a purchase, bid, booking, shipment, insurance cover or paid work. The written proposal identifies DERA's role and the counterparties for the particular goods, Japan-side sourcing, logistics or export coordination.

Goods and service scope

The quotation or agreement identifies the vehicle, parts or machinery, quantity, unit or lot details, condition, included components, inspection scope, known defects and services included.

Prices and fees

Prices are quoted individually in writing. Check the currency, goods price, DERA's fees, applicable taxes and their treatment, and the quotation expiry date.

Additional costs

Where relevant, the proposal distinguishes included and additional inspection, pickup, storage, packing, container loading, inland transport, freight, customs, insurance, transfer and destination duty or tax costs. For costs not yet fixed, confirm the estimate or calculation method, who pays and how additional work is authorized.

Payment method and timing

The agreement and invoice specify the currency, payment method, beneficiary and any deposit or balance deadlines. Inquiry forms do not take payment.

Delivery and service timing

Confirm the expected timing, place, handoff method and conditions in writing. Carrier schedules are not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays, route changes and related costs are handled under the agreed terms.

Offer validity and quantity limits

Any quotation expiry, stock or bid deadline, minimum quantity or other application restriction must be stated before the order.

Cancellation, returns and nonconformity

Before ordering, obtain the written cancellation deadlines, return conditions, return shipping responsibility, cancellation charges, remedies if goods differ from the agreement, and any warranty and its scope. General website text does not make every transaction non-returnable. Rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law remain available.

If a term is unclear, contact DERA before ordering or sending funds. You do not need to pay a deposit or provide a passport to request legally required transaction information.

Transaction type and applicable rules

The application of Japan's Specified Commercial Transactions Act depends on the actual customer, purpose, location, advertising and ordering method. The absence of a shopping cart or a B2B label alone does not determine the outcome. For covered mail-order transactions, the required disclosures and item-specific conditions must be provided before the application.

If bank details change or a message seems unusual, pause payment and verify through DERA's contact details obtained independently of that message. Never send passwords or verification codes.
